Terms of Service
The deal between us and you.
Last updated · 15 May 2026
These terms govern your use of Tuck Me In ("the Service"), a parental-control product built by SuperDarkCode Labs (Pvt) Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or installing the agent on a child's device, you agree to these terms.
They're written in plain language. The bits with real legal teeth - eligibility, acceptable use, disclaimers - are clearly labelled.
The short version
Use Tuck Me In only on phones belonging to your own children, where you have parental authority. Don't use it to spy on adults or anyone you don't have authority over. We provide the service "as is" - it's best-effort, not a substitute for talking to your kids. We can change pricing or end the service with reasonable notice. Zimbabwean law applies.

1. Agreement
By signing up, signing in, or installing the agent, you confirm that you've read these terms and the Privacy Policy, and that you agree to both. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You may use Tuck Me In if all of the following are true:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the minor whose device the agent will be installed on, with the legal authority to make digital-safety decisions for them.
- The phone the agent is installed on is one you own or are otherwise authorised to administer.
- Using the Service in your country and on the device in question is lawful.
3. Acceptable use
Tuck Me In is designed for one purpose: parental authority over a minor's phone use. You agree not to:
- Install the agent on the phone of an adult without their fully-informed consent.
- Install it on the phone of a minor over whom you have no parental or legal-guardian authority.
- Use the Service to stalk, harass, intimidate, or otherwise harm any person.
- Use it as a workplace-monitoring tool. The agent is not designed for, and is not appropriate for, monitoring employees.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source from the agent or backend, except to the limited extent permitted by Zimbabwean law.
- Resell, sublicense, or rebrand the Service without our written permission.
- Use the Service to violate any law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used in breach of this section.
4. What the Service does
The Service consists of:
- The agent: an Android app installed on the child's phone that enforces a small set of rules (bedtime lock, daily app caps, web-safety DNS, focus windows, new-app gate, tamper PIN) and reports back to our server.
- The parent app: an iOS / Android app you use to configure rules and see what's happening on the child's device.
- The backend: the server that mediates between the two.
What it doesn't do is described in detail in our Privacy Policy section 4: no microphone recording, no screen recording, no message reading, no keylogging, no "AI threat detection." Those are deliberate non-goals.
5. Your account
You sign in using your phone number and a one-time code we deliver over WhatsApp or SMS. You're responsible for:
- Keeping the phone number on your account current.
- Keeping the tamper PIN you set (if any) confidential - particularly from the child whose device it guards.
- Telling us if you believe someone has gained unauthorised access to your account.
We're not liable for losses arising from account compromise caused by you sharing your sign-in codes or PIN with someone you shouldn't have.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Some features are available on paid subscription tiers (Family, Diaspora, School). The currently-priced catalogue is shown in the parent app and on the marketing landing page; we may adjust prices from time to time, with at least 14 days' notice for any increase that would affect an existing subscriber.
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through our payment processor (Pesepay). Where you've authorised it, your subscription auto-renews at the end of each cycle at the then-current price. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the parent app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid cycle.
Refunds for completed cycles are at our discretion - if the Service failed substantially for technical reasons attributable to us, contact tuckmein@localhost.co.zw within 30 days and we'll work it out fairly. We don't refund for "didn't use it much" or "changed my mind after the cycle started."
Payment instrument data is handled directly by Pesepay; we never see or store card numbers, EcoCash PINs or similar.
7. Free / beta access
We may from time to time make all features available free of charge during a beta or promotional period - this is currently the case. When we end such a period, we'll notify the parent app in advance and give existing free users at least 14 days to either subscribe or accept reduced (free-tier) functionality. We won't silently start charging.
8. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
- App-level rules will hold on a phone that has been rooted, has Android device-admin permissions revoked, or has had the agent forcibly removed by someone with physical access. Parental controls are a hedge, not a guarantee.
- Location reporting is accurate to any particular precision - GPS, Wi-Fi positioning and cellular positioning all have known accuracy limitations.
- The Service is fit for any purpose other than the parental-control purpose described in section 4.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, neither SuperDarkCode Labs nor its directors, employees or contractors will be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use.
- Harm arising from the actions of a third party - including your child - bypassing the Service.
Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is capped at the greater of USD 50 and the total subscription fees you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the applicable law - including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the parent app and the agent and (optionally) emailing us to request deletion of your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms - particularly section 3 (Acceptable use). Where we can, we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to put things right. For serious breaches (unlawful use, security threats) we may act without prior notice.
On termination, your data is handled per the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll bump the "last updated" date and - for changes that materially affect your rights or obligations - notify you in the parent app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you don't, please stop using the Service before the change takes effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any dispute arising under or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe, except where consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in your own country and that right cannot be waived.
